Clinical Psychologist

EMDR therapist

Systemic Practitioner

I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist and EMDR therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) with 20 years experience working in NHS and private practice. My qualifications are:

- BSc (Hons) Psychology. University of York
- MSc Psychology. Open University.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D.Clin.Psych) University of Staffordshire and Keele.

- Systemic Practitioner (intermediate level).

- EMDR Therapy  (EMDR Europe Level 3 accreditation)

My areas of special interest and experience is in adult mental health, working with anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, and difficulties with self-esteem. I have experience in working with clients with either short or long term difficulties.

I use EMDR and a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approach, but do integrate other therapeutic models when required. This enables us to find a'best fit' approach based on your individual needs and preferences.

I offer a positive, non judgmental approach and work collaboratively with you to help understand your difficulties and find ways forward.

I offer appointments remotely only throughout the week.
